FK Crvena Zvezda also known as FC Red Star Belgrade is regarded as the greatest Eastern European club of all times winning every major trophy in former Yugoslavia (today Serbia). Late 90’s are considered to be the Golden Era in the history of the club. Many world class players sprang out from the famous FC Red Star Academy or were selected through extensive scouting network. Those players were the backbone of the team that won the 1990- 1991 European Cup which is considered to be the biggest success in club’s rich history.

This Summer camps will be hosted in Akron, Chicago, Milwaukee and New Jersey. We welcome boys and girls ages 6-18 to join us and learn the “Red Star Way” of playing soccer from the world renowned coaches. The Red Star camp curriculum is structured in a way to challenge highly competitive players yet to provide a positive learning experience for younger players or players new to the game. We are looking forward to another unforgettable Summer and can’t wait to see you all on the soccer field!

DAY 1

PLAYER TESTING

Campers will go through a battery of motor and technical ability tests and assigned to groups according to test results. This is done to ensure a positive experience for all campers throughout the week.

THE RED STAR WAY

Introduction to the Red Star Way of playing soccer. The morning session will focus on ball control in tight spaces while the afternoon session will reinforce everything learned that day in real game situations.

DAY 3

INDIVIDUAL vs TEAM PLAY

Players will start by engaging in highly challenging 1v1, 2v2, 3v2 and 3v3 drills while coaches observe and provide instant feedback. In the afternoon session we will transition from the individual play to open play and attacking and defending as a team.

FINISHING & DEFENDING

What made Dejan Savićević one of the best attacking midfielders of his time or Nemanja Vidić one of the best defenders in the Premier League’s History? FC Red Star coaches will guide campers through a set of physical, technical, tactical and mental challenges to help them take their finishing and defending game to the next level.

GRADUATION DAY

Campers will be tested on all elements learned throughout the week. They will also participate in a tournament like scrimmages, cross bar challenges and the famous World Cup game. Coaches will sign autographs, take photos with all campers and issue diplomas before we officially say goodbye until next Summer.

Both of my sons (aged 5 & 8 years) went to FC Red Star Camp for a week this summer. It was the hottest week of the summer and I was ready to pick them up early everyday. Not only did they make it but they had a thorough workout, learned good sportsmanship, and had a blast. The coaches were great (all of them)! Now, my older son plays on the team twice a week - and loves every minute of it. This isn't one of those dance-in-a-circle and sing songs kind of camps. They work on fundamentals, love soccer, and always make it fun. I'm beyond impressed with the entire program and am lucky to have found it.
